This hippodrome, which is located within the boundaries of Istanbul, is built on 596 acres of land. The hippodrome has a length of 2020 meters and a width of 27 – 36 meters. The area consisting of the grass race track contains the sand synthetic race track which is 1870 meters long and 17.5 -19 meters wide. In addition, there is a sand training track with a length of 1720 meters and a width of 14 to 16 cm. Veli Efendi Racecourse has witnessed many race records throughout its history. There are also night races in the racecourse since 27 July 2008.
Adana Yeşiloba Racecourse!
It is a hippodrome located between Adana and Mersin on the intercity road. The distance from the hippodrome to the city center is 12 km. The hippodrome is located on 666 acres of land. Within the area of the hippodrome, there is a sand track with a length of 1816 meters and a width of 21.5 meters. In addition, a training track with a length of 1430 meters and a width of 12 meters is located in the hippodrome. Yeşiloba Racecourse has been hosting night races since 2012.
Ankara 75th Anniversary Racecourse!
The hippodrome, which is located within the boundaries of Ankara, is located on an area of 1,383,282 square meters. The grass runway has a length of 2200 meters and a width of 30 meters. There is also a training track with a length of 1900 meters and a width of 13.5 meters.
Bursa Osmangazi Racecourse!
The hippodrome, which is located within the borders of Bursa, is located within an area of 762.617 square meters. The grass track is 1830 meters long and 29 meters wide. It has two separate sections, 1200 meters and 1800 meters. It also has a sand runway area of 1683 meters long and 20.5 meters wide.
